Helping Animals in Shelters
Bring Pets Home is a non-profit animal charity that helps care for animals in shelters.
Our mission is to support animals in shelters until they find permanent, loving homes.
Every year, 6 to 8 million animals enter U. S. shelters–many are lost pets. All need food, shelter, and medical care, so that they have the chance to be reunited with their original owners or placed in caring, permanent homes.
Shelters never have enough money, though. They rely on grants or donations from individuals or animal charities. Millions of pets are euthanized every year, because shelters do not have the resources to house and care for them humanely until they are adopted.
Bring Pets Home partners with major retailers so that when you shop online at regular prices through our website, you’re helping animals, too.
Bring Pets Home donates 100% of the money raised to animal shelters. Your purchases help pets directly by paying for food, shelter, and medical treatment. Corporate donations from Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health cover 100% of Bring Pets Home operating costs.

We Donate. Bring Pets Home leverages dollars you spend online with major retailers to raise money for animal shelters and care for pets in need. Shop to help animal charities.
We Educate. We provide a library of articles, anecdotes, and tips about pet safety & wellness, microchipping, lost pets, and ways to support shelters in your community. Learn about helping animals.
We Relate. Bring Pets Home helps connect volunteers and hosts a dynamic online community that includes blogs, discussion groups, photos, and videos for pet lovers. Connect with our online community.
How We Support Shelters: Donations
When you click through Bring Pets Home to shop at regular price with our online retailers–like Amazon, WalMart, and iTunes–they donate a portion of your purchase to Bring Pets Home to distribute to animal shelters.
Simply click on a store link and start shopping at no additional cost.
Register. Register (optional) to select a specific animal shelter to support. If you do not register, your contributions to Bring Pets Home will be shared among animal shelters across the country.
Shop. Shop with retailers you already love. Our participating online stores include Amazon, Sephora, Walmart, iTunes, and many, many more! Retailers donate a portion of your purchase to help animals.
Helping Animals Thrive: Education
Responsible pet parenting helps pets, too. We help you learn more about everything to keep pets healthy–from spaying and neutering your pet, to the importance of vaccinations, to microchipping your pet so that you can be reunited with him if he gets lost.
